Frequently asked questions

What happens when I exceed my monthly limit?

For paid plans, overage is calculated per GB at the plan rate (Starter: SEK 5/GB, Pro: SEK 4/GB, Business: SEK 3/GB) and shown in the dashboard. Free has no paid overage; upgrade before using more than the included allowance.

Can I change my plan?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. The change takes effect immediately with prorated billing — you receive credit for unused time on your old plan and are charged for the remaining time on your new plan.

Are there any setup fees?

No, there are no setup fees or hidden costs. You only pay for your subscription plus any overage.

Do you offer annual billing?

Annual invoicing can be agreed separately. Contact hello@proxyapi.se for a quote and terms.

What payment methods do you accept?

We use Stripe for secure payment processing. Available cards and other payment methods are shown in Stripe Checkout. Business customers who prefer invoicing can contact hello@proxyapi.se.

Can I try before I buy?

The Free plan gives you 200 MB per month without a time limit or credit card. Upgrade when you need more capacity.

What's the difference between datacenter and residential proxies?

Datacenter proxies prioritise speed and stability. Residential and ISP addresses have a different network profile. You can choose a type in the dashboard; without a choice, the router weighs health, latency, and load.

Do you log my traffic?

For HTTPS over CONNECT, the gateway does not terminate TLS or store request bodies, headers, or response bodies as application content. We process connection metadata including destination host and port, exit, bytes, timestamps, and close reason for routing, security, usage reporting, and billing.

Do you support SOCKS5?

Not on the public endpoint yet. All current plans use HTTP/HTTPS through CONNECT on port 443 or 8080.

Do you offer an SLA?

A specific SLA applies only when expressly included in a separate written Business order. Standard plans do not include a stated uptime guarantee.
